About Us
J&A Mechanical plumbing was founded in 2015 and its success quickly prompted the addition of J&A Refrigeration. All of our directors have over 20yrs experience in the mechanical services industry, supervising and managing pipe installation on some of the largest, highest spec and niche projects in Western Australia. Friendship and common values lead us on the journey to create what we believe will become Perth’s most trusted mechanical pipe installation company.
Our work ethic and attention to detail has seen nearly all of Perth’s tier 1 mechanical services contractors benefit from our services. We now maintain a friendly, professional working relationship that has seen all of those contractors become return clients.
We pride ourselves on being able to deliver all projects on time and with a minimum of fuss. We understand the objectives of all project stakeholders and endeavour to conduct our business in a way that is conducive to the principle contractors being able to deliver projects of high quality. J&A never hesitate to assist in co-ordination with other trades and invested parties to achieve the best outcome possible whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Our helpful approach and honest communication extends to our employees and we operate our company with a family first attitude. This has allowed us maintain a solid core of excellent contributors who have always been able to work independently and to our clients instructions. We acknowledge our employees as our greatest asset and provide them with support wherever required. Meet the Directors
Andrew Sheffield
Jared Hopley
Justin English
Jared and Andrew are both incredibly experienced mechanical plumbers. Long-time friends and colleagues, they completed their apprenticeships together in NSW in the early 2000s.
After each re-locating to WA at different points in their career, they again worked with each other, managing and supervising several tier one projects in Perth. In 2015 they decided to enter the market themselves and founded J&A Mechanical Plumbing.
Justin is a refrigeration mechanic with 20 years of experience working in all forms of the industry. He joined J&A in the early stages and not long after, J&A Refrigeration was formed to service Perth’s DX installation market.
Having all been on-site safety reps for various teams in the past and all completed supplementary safety training, we are driven by values that ensure we create a safe work environment for ourselves and our employees.
Each director brings his own strengths to the organisation and combined, we have the skill sets and knowledge to provide solutions for any mechanical piping requirements our clients may have.
